- 5th August 1925: Harold Brooks from Long Island ordered a schooner with a length over deck of 64 ft

- Capt Nat designed and built his last schooner at the age of 78, Mary Rose could be lowered into the waters 1926

- First Regatta with Mary Rose: Astor Cup in Newport

- Mary Rose was sold in 1936 to the Eastern Yacht Club. Her name was changed to Gallant

- September 1938: Gallant was destroyed by a hurricane

- The US Coast Guard requisitioned Mary Rose from 1942 until 1945

- In the following 3 decades she went back to private hands in California

- 1994 saw a new caretaker who started on a complete restoration project which should last six years

- End of Dezember 2004: Gerald Rainer becomes the new caretaker of Galant. His first action was to give Gallant back her original name Mary Rose
