After meticulous preparation and strategy meetings in Vienna, the crew arrives from all over the world, London, Newport, San Francisco, and even the remotest locations like Ebensee. Thanks to Geri's personal effort and several trips to Antigua, we find Mary Rose in pristine condition and ready to rock.

Eigentlich haben wir damit gerechnet dass sie, da sie ohnehin nichts mehr gewinnen kann, in Lee vorbeigeht. Weit gefehlt. Um den Gästen schöne Fotos ?!? zu ermöglichen bleibt sie auf Kurs und drängt uns damit einige 100 Meter ab, nachdem sie 2 mal weiter abfällt und uns damit wertvolle Minuten verloren gehen.

At the official prize giving for the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta at Nelson's Dockyard / English Harbor Mary Rose and her Crew was honored twice!

Mary Rose with Geri on the helm und the ambitious crew did a very good job today in the last race of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta 2104!

A bid less wind than yesterday, absolutely no problems on Mary Rose and second place in the Vintage Class B!

What a day!

I was on the pressboat today, probably one of the most turbulent rides ever! And I saw Mary Rose fighting very close...

Auch für gestandne Regattasegler tut sich für uns 2 Ebenseer hier dank Geri Rainer eine neue Welt auf. Heute nach dem zweiten gewonnen Race in unserer Gruppe ist die Stimmung im Team bestens und mit einem, nicht mehr Coffeemartini wurde nach dem Race im Skullduggery gefeiert.Beeindruckende Bilder und Filmsequenzenzen von Manfred warten schon darauf, in der Heimat gezeigt zu werden.

Morgen geht's hoffentlich genauso erfolgreich weiter........

0830 Friday 18th April.

Looking dashing in their new kit, the crew slowly gathers onboard. Shaking off the cobwebs last nights rum punches, anticipation is building and tactics are being discussed. Bonnie is serving up the last coffees as we wonder if anyone succumbed to last nights indulgences and might not show up onboard today. As the meeting time approaches, everyone appears and fears are laid to rest.

After getting the ship dry from water everywhere inside and on deck Geri started preparing the table in the saloon as for dinner.

Yesterday we had much fun doing the 1st practice for the 27th Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta on the beautiful Mary Rose! Perfect weather with 15 knots of wind und sun was a warm welcome to the Caribbean!

Antigua is waiting … and Mary Rose is in pristine shape . She will do a shake down cruise end of next week to Nevis.
